Insha’Allah you are all well
So yesterday I spent ages writing up a post, well more of a rant than anything else, but when I hit the publish button, it came out all messed up on my blog. So I took it off, and then today I decided to delete it cos it’s a waste of space. Too much complaining ain’t good for yer! Alhamdulillah I have everything to be grateful for…
Anyhoo, its cold today. Summers slowly ending – not that there was much sun. I looked outside the window today and saw that the leaves are slowly changing to a golden brown colour – first signs of Autumn.
Uni starts soon. I can’t wait, home is not very homely and I’ll be glad to get outta the house for a bit. I hope this year goes well. My timetable shall be pretty much empty methinks so no worries about stress or whatever, well at least I think so anyway.
I’m really bored at the moment. There’s not much to do. I wish I was more proactive and wasted less time. It’s a blessing to have so much free-time. May Allah give me the ability to use it wisely.
On that note, I think I’m going to listen to a lecture. I have been meaning to listen to one for ages. I just remember at ridiculous times, like 12 at night so I never end up listening to them. Hmmm, need something that gives me an Imaan boost, let us see…
Before I go, I shall leave you with something that was the only good thing in the deleted post…
“It is obligatory upon the intelligent to adhere resolutely to silence until he must speak. Frequently will the one who speaks later regret! Rare will it be that the one who remains silent have a cause to regret! The people who will have the most misery and greatest misfortune are those with unrestrained tongues and encased hearts.” – Imaam Abu Haatim ibn Hibban
Cry Until Your Heart Bleeds August 21, 2006Posted by Muhajirah in Poetry.
My brothers we remember you…How shall we compare?
The defenders of the Muslims, upholding the banner of Islam.
In the mountains and the hills…
the enemy surrounds you but you stand firm,
trusting in Allah, keeper of the strong
And the wind is blowing from your left…
Oh how shaytaan has engulfed the West,
and they come for you, filled with unrest …rage upon rage towards those
who strive the best…
May Allah keep you in peace,
and the tranquillity of His promise fill your hearts
and in your graves may you find rest.
My brothers from every race…O how we have failed you…
failed to come to your aid and to join you in this crusade,
of the establishment of the way of Allah and His Messenger (sal allahu alaihi
The Light of each face and the brightness of each day.
In valleys and deep caves you hide, but are not afraid
For it is the supreme scent of Jannah that you crave…
Knowing that Allah’s help is near,
And His reward is true for a heart that strives on the battlefield, without
faltering, without fear.
And our tears are happy tears…from our memory you are not erased
For you are not dead but alive…with Noor upon your face
For Islam you have bled,
Allah’s path is your heart’s content,
so with peace and contentment, lie down upon your bed.
O’Mujahideen warrior, defender of what is right!
surrounded by Allah’s mercy and grace, the most precious of light
O’my brothers who have left those whom they dearly loved
Forgotten this world, this dunya, for a treasure beyond words
Striving to uphold the perfected religion…Islam…so beautiful,
most beautiful of all.
And my brothers who have lagged behind…
Arise and fight!!! Establish the way that is true!!!
The path was only established by the blood of those who came before you.
O’Ummah of Rasullulah (sal alahu alaihi wa salam),
Come to the path of success!!!
Forget the life of this world, this dunya and seek after that which is best,
The path of Allah and His Messenger (sal alahu alaihi wa salam)…
wherein each heart finds rest.
By whom have you been deceived,
into thinking that the path of Allah is too fundamental, too extreme?
In this world there is bliss?
Nay, Wake up Oh deceived one,
for the life of this world is only paradise for the kuffaar and mushrikeen.
O’Mujahideen warrior! The enemy is plotting…
and Allah is plotting too,
and what they conspire against you will never succeed…
For Allah the Most High, Most Great is All-Hearing and All-Knowing of the
Animosity pours forth from their eyes, a hatred from the soul…
Purify yourselves O’believers! Fight for the sake of this deen!
Make Al-Firdaus your goal!
Allah the Most High, Most Great is the protector of the believers,
for Allah encompasses everything.
O’ Muslimeen and muslimah, cry until your heart bleeds…
Abandon the filth of this world and its pain, its greed
If death were to come to you,
would you cling to the life of this world or your Lord?
Who is it that you need?
Abandon the filth of this world and its pain…
the lust that leads to child molestation and rape,
the greed that leads to murder
and the envy that leads to hate
Who is that evil whisperer that you hear?
causing you to forget the reason why you are here…
Remember Allah, if you fear
Remember Rasullulah (sal allahu alaihi wa sallam) and our own shortcomings
with every tear.
Cry until your heart bleeds
and remember the Sahabah and Rasullulah (sal allahu alaihi wa sallam)
Not only fought to establish Islam, but they fought for you and me,
With their wealth, lives and property
Nay they are not dead but alive…with Noor upon their face.
O’ Allah, Most High, Most Great, please forgive us our sins and selfish,
O’ Allah Most Merciful, Most Kind…guide us along the path of those whom
you favoured, not of those who earned your anger or went astray.
O’ Allah, Most High, Most Great…please forgive us for our mistakes.

The Greatness of Allah
Imam Ibn ul Qayyim al Jawziyyah
He governs the affairs of the various kingdoms and He commands and forbids, creates, sustains, gives death, gives life, gives power, strips power (to and from whom He wills) and alternates the night and day. He gives varying fortunes to people and alternates governments (and states), destroying some and bringing some into existence. His Command and Power are dominant in the heavens and their zones, the earth and all that which is on and in it, in the seas and in the air. His Knowledge has encompassed everything and He counted everything. He hears all types of voices and they do not confuse Him. Rather, He hears each voice in its distinct language and need, and no voice will make Him busy from fulfilling the need of another, and no need will ever escape His Perfect Knowledge (and His Power to deliver). He does not become bored because of the many needs of those who need. His Sight encompasses all that which there is. He sees the movement of a black ant on a barren rock during a dark night. To Him, the Unseen is uncovered end the secret is secret no more,
“Whosoever is in the heavens and on Earth begs of Him (its needs from Him). Every day He has a matter to bring Forth (such as giving honour to some, disgrace to some, life to (some, death to some, etc.).” [55:29]
He forgives an evil deed makes depression vanish and brings reprieve from disasters, relief for whoever needs it, wealth for the poor, guidance for the misguided, light for the lost, help for he who is desperate, fullness for the hungry, cover for the barely clothed, cure for the ill and ease for he who suffers. He accepts he who repents, gives reward for he who does good, gives aid for he who was dealt with injustice, destroys an arrogant person, covers mistakes, gives safety after fear end elevates some people and humiliates others. If those who inhabit His heavens and His earth and all those whom He created, whether mankind or the Jinns, had hearts similar to the most pious heart, His Kingdom will not increase. If all His creation, whether mankind or the Jinns, had hearts similar to the heart of the most wicked heart, this will not decrease from His Kingdom. Also, if all those who inhabit His heavens and His earth, all mankind and all the Jinns, the dead and the living, stand up on one strip of land and each asks Him for his need, and He then fulfils their needs, this will not decrease from what He has a bit. He is the First, nothing is before Him, the Last, nothing is after Him, the Most High, nothing is above Him, and the Most Near, nothing is nearer than Him. He, Exalted and Ever High as He is, is the Best Whom one can and should remember, the only One Who deserves to be worshiped and thanked, the Kindest of all those who own and the Most generous of all those who are asked to give. He is the King Who has no partner, the One Who has no competitor, the Samad (Self-Sufficient) Who has no offspring, and the Ever High, none like unto Him. Everything perishes save His Face and every kingship is bound to perish except His. He will only be obeyed by His Leave, and His Knowledge uncovers all disobedience to Him. When He is obeyed, He thanks for it, and when He is disobeyed, He grants forgiveness (for those who truly repent to Him). Every punishment from Him is just and every bounty is a grace. He is the Closest Witness and the Nearest One with His Perfect Care. He controls the forelocks of everything and has the full records of all deeds end the books of all ages. The hearts are unmasked to Him and the secret is unveiled. His giving and punishing is merely a Command,
“Verily, His Command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, ‘Be, and it is!’” [36:82]
Myself, Mankind and Jinn are in a Great Serious State… August 16, 2006Posted by Muhajirah in Hadith, Heart Softners, Islam.
Insha’Allah you are all well,
In the Hadith Qudsi, the Prophet (saw) mentioned that Allah (swt) said:
“Myself, Mankind and Jinn are in a great serious state. I create them, then they worship other gods that they make for themselves; I bless them with my bounties, then they thank someone else for what I sent them; My Mercy descends to them while their evil deeds ascend to Me; I endear them with my gifts even though I have no need to any of them while they alienate themselves from Me with their sins even though they are desperate for my help. Whoever returns to Me, I accept him no matter how far he is; and whoever turns away from Me, I approach him and call on him. Whoever leaves a sin for my sake, I reward him with many gifts and whoever seeks to please Me, I seek to please him. Whoever acknowledges My Will and Power in whatever he does, I make the iron bend for his sake. My dear people are those who are with Me (i.e. whoever would like to be with Me, let him supplicate to Me and remember Me). Whoever thanks Me, I grant him more blessings; whoever obeys Me, I raise him and endear him more. Whoever disobeys Me, I keep the doors of My Mercy open for him; if he returns to Me, I bestow him with My Love since I love those who repent and purify themselves for My Sake. If he does not repent, I still treat him by putting them in hardship to purify him. Whoever favours Me over others, I favour them over others. I reward every single good deed ten times over or seven hundred times over to countless times over. I count every single bad deed as one unless the person repents and ask for My Forgiveness in which case I forgive even that one. I take into account any little good deed and I forgive even major sins.
My Mercy supersedes My Anger; My Tolerance supersedes My Blame; My Forgiveness supersedes My Punishment as I am more merciful with My slaves than a mother with her child.”

Insha’Allah you are all well,
So today is Pakistani Independence Day… don’t worry I’m not going to go on about how great Pakistan is and how much it has developed in the last 50 something years. I’ll leave that for others. Actually get ready for a rant…
One thing I hate, is that people – Pakistanis – go on and on about their country. Sheesh! They have got to be the most nationalistic/patriotic (don’t know the difference!) people ever! Ok, maybe not the most (you can’t beat the Americans) but, just switch over to some paki channel on any day (never mind 14th august) but there is some wannabe American singing about how
Pakistan is so great. Then if u turn on the TV today, they are going on about it even more.
They repeat the same thing every year. Some documentary about Qaid-e-Azaam dude (who they love!), patriotic songs about Pakistan and some over dramatic film about Pakistan – India and then they drone on about Pakistan achieving so much in so little time… Man!! Get rid of Busharraf and then you’ll have achieved something!
Then you have the Kashmiri, wannabe Pakis, who go on about their beloved homeland, trying to convince themselves that they are in fact Pakistanis, but lets be truthful yeh, most pakis hate Kashmiris… so who you trying to fool?
So yeh… happy 14th August… or not!
The Big Move… August 10, 2006Posted by Muhajirah in General.
Insha’Allah you are all well,
So yeh… I felt like a change! Out with the old and in with the new!
This is actually just a test. I have been thinking about getting myself a new place over here at wordpress for a while now, and today I just thought, what the heck lets go for it. So far I am impressed, but we’ll see how it goes. If I don’t like it then I’m going back home – to my dear blogger.
Slowly the good stuff from the old blog will be posted here. *edit* everythings been packed and moved over but I’ma leave that for a while before I ditch it completely. I have actually realised that I’m quite attached to that blog. How long did I blog there for? Don’t know, but it was a long time for me…
Anyhoo, make dua that I settle in well. Tis my first time away from home….
Dirasah Arabiyah – Studing Arabic? August 5, 2006Posted by Muhajirah in General, Uni.
Insha’Allah you are all well
So it’s been ? weeks since uni finished, in fact I shall be starting again in September Insha’Allah. I am looking forward to it as it’s pretty boring at home. First year at uni was enjoyable but I hated it at the same time. I suppose I hated the environment but loved what I was studying – Al-lughah al-arabiyah. It’s a shame I’m not studying it anymore, I could have been preparing to jet off to Egypt right now, and if I had been the same person I was a year ago I would probably be going, but alhamdulillah that’s not gonna happen anymore. And though a part of me tells me I am letting go of the most exciting/important opportunity in my life, most of me knows that it’s for the best. It just increases my desire of making hijrah.
So I won’t be studying Arabic anymore at uni, that doesn’t mean I should stop studying it all. I made a plan at the start of summer to carry on with the Arabic. Review the stuff I have done, go through the other chapters of my Arabic book. And well for a while I did (a week to be exact) – I went through the vocabulary lists, reminded myself of the grammar, spoke to everyone (including myself) in Arabic. To improve my writing (well that was my excuse) I used to always write English messages in Arabic for my sister to read on my whiteboard like: يو سمل سو باد! stupid stuff like that. I even made an Iraqi friend (even if it was a 10yr old). I spent an afternoon talking to her in Arabic and even though she didn’t know much fusHah (I was teaching her =D) it helped a lot cos I dont get the chance to do a lot of speaking. It was all going well until I starting to slack. And now… well now I have forgotten it all! =(
I bought a book ages ago, before I knew any Arabic at all, in a bid to teach myself. Because I didn’t understand any of it, I left it to gather dust on my bookshelf. Today I noticed it, lying there neglected. I picked it up and had a flick through it and it was a good read. I love Arabic grammar, its SOOO hard, but SOOO interesting at the same time. Most of it made sense to me and if I made an effort it would benefit me a lot! It explains Qur’aanic grammar and so has references to the Qur’aan which is good. Also I am forgetting the grammar, which is fundamental to learning Arabic. If I let myself forget it completely, the past year of spending ages in the library trying to figure out roots of words and memorising the numerous different forms of a verb would all have been a waste of time!
Need to be a geek and start learning.
The Magicians Spoke But We Stay Slient August 2, 2006Posted by Muhajirah in Heart Softners, Islam, Qur'an, Writings.

Insha’Allah you are in the best of health and imaan.
‘We will never choose you above the clear proofs that have come unto us, and above Him Who created us. So decree what you will decree, for you can only decree what touches the life of this world.’ [20:72]
This is the response of the magicians of Firawn, who after seeing the clear proofs from Allah turned to Islaam. Subhan’Allah it’s amazing how Allah guided them. One minute they were allies of Firawn and the next they were prostrating to the All Mighty. See how Allah implanted in their hearts such faith that within minutes of belief they answered to Firawn with such firmness?
Imagine someone saying to you that they would hurt or even kill you for your belief in Allah. At that moment would you have the courage to answer back? Would you have the courage to say the words of the magicians? To have trust in Allah and know that no matter what happens it is by His will. No doubt you would feel fear, maybe in your heart you would know that if they killed you, you would have died fisabilillah, but you would certainly feel fear. Because this Ummah lacks the Imaan of those magicians.
The signs are so many, each ayaah in the Qur’aan is a clear proof from Allah, but instead of prostrating ourselves to Allah, the All Mighty, you see us bowing down to the Firawns of today. We have busied ourselves with this dunya, distracted by its false splendour. Rather than magic, the Firawns of today fool the masses with democracy, capitalism, socialism and every other system of rule other than by the laws of Allah. Today the Ummah is oppressed but it is to the oppressor that we look to for help. Our lands are occupied and we run to the UN for resolutions. The kuffar have made it clear, you are either with them, or with the Muslims. Who have we chosen?
This Ummah was the greatest and now it has become the weakest. Forget jihad, we don’t even have the Imaan to speak out like the magicians did.
